UNIFORM | Levi's 501 CTs

As denim fads come and go, it's pretty safe to say that 501s always remain in style. Since they were introduced over 140 years ago, 501s have been a staple of so many closets around the world. And even though they've been around since the dawn of modern electricity, the jeans are actually subtly tweaked over the decades to keep up with changing silhouettes and styles. The cut has once again been tweaked with the launch of the 501 CT (customized taper). The CTs are feature a relaxed fit above the knee and a tapered fit below the knee—which is a really nice combo. Vogue collaborated with Levi's to create a limited-edition version made with deadstock denim from the jean maker's Eureka, California mill. But if you weren't lucky enough to snatch a pair of those last week, there's plenty of good stuff to choose from online—from a cottontail white ($64) to a old favorite blue ($98).

Completely agree - and I like the new versions. It's about time I bought another pair

i wish they wouldn't "distress" the denim with fading and holes. it doesn't look natural; i prefer jeans to actually reflect my wearing them over time.
COMPLETELY agree with anonymous about the distressing, especially the holes. I love the cut of these jeans and am dying to buy a pair, but I refuse to pay almost $100 for jeans that already have holes in them.

Also disappointed in the fact that the men's 501CTs cost significantly less and don't have fake holes. (I'd buy those, but the cut just isn't as flattering on me.) Why can't Levis make the same jeans high quality, reasonably priced jeans for women?

I tend to agree too, pre-distressed denim and holes are annoying and the jeans would be a lot more appealing if they didn't have them. Eyeing the white pair for exactly that reason.

I completely disagree! A little "distressing" makes for a more comfortable jean right off the bat! And, we all know that comfortable jeans are the best.

I'll add my voice to the "No holes" bandwagon. I'm 54 and I think artificial distressing feels a bit ridiculous on me.

Wearing mine, as we speak, with their own holes. That said, if Levis wants to hasten time, I'm OK with it.

Stupid holes in those! Also I don't like they put strech to womens models...men have the nice dark blue colour, too....

I am lucky to have my East Europe version (in Warsaw), with no holes - just a tiny little scratch on the knee, which I will patch eventually. Still my husbands' 501CTs have way better colour and flattering fading. I really hope they continue making 501s for women in more fades and finishes.
Tried them. Really disappointed. Shame!

I worked in an office for a long time, and now I finally have my own online business. I try to constantly develop it and find new technological solutions. For example, now I decided to migrate woocommerce to magento 2 because I heard that Magento is a really cool e-commerce platform. I decided to turn to Amasty specialists, as I heard good reviews about their products and services.

Levi's 501 CTS is a popular uniform choice for its durability, classic style, and customizable fit.
