UNIFORM | Patagonia Spring/Summer 2014


I'm as excited as I've been in a long time over a women's collection coming out of Patagonia. The 2014 Spring/Summer collection is really acutely perfect. It's got a great heritage vibe, it's super tomboy-centric, and all of it just makes me want to get in a van and head south to Mexico. It feels like the Patagonia I remember falling in love with as a kid. A special note on this collection: the swimwear (much of it reversible!) is designed by Claire Chouinard (daughter of Patagonia's founder Yvon Chouinard), who will continue to design women's swimwear going forward.


Obsessed with these new Barely Baggies ($49)! That Pineapple color is so good.

Wait a tic, is it available yet? That white and black synchilla snap is perfect.

Also, did you check out the new women's fly fishing line? Now, we're talkin. Now they're cookin with oil!

The synchilla pullover is from the men's section. I am a small (130 lbs, 5 ft 6, 34dd) in the women but I had to return the XS of the white/navy synchilla in the picture because the sleeved were too long and the body too short.

I am annoyed that their women's color are mostly sold out and not great.

Okay. I saw this post when you published it and got really excited about the shorts. During SXSWi I caved and bought some of the black ones. I'm so glad I did!! They are awesome - I sleep and romp around the city in them. One of my better purchases in a long time. Thanks for posting and making the recommendation, Lizzie!
