GEAR | Sunpocket Original

I'm pretty sure this picture says it all. Who wouldn't want to do everything exactly like these European ski yuppies? Luckily their sunglasses are in reach. Sunpocket Original started in France in the 1970s and became de rigueur for the French ski community before exploding in popularity in the 1980s all over the continent. Two years ago Sunpocket relaunched and there are too many great pairs of sunglasses they have on offer. The pair that really feels classic to me though are the Sunpocket Sport Wild ($85).

Ok and maybe the Sunpocket Glacier glasses too. And these. And these!

SOS sweaters! The Sportswear of Sweden sweaters are the thrilling part of this photo for me. Sweaters that wear like a jacket. Super heavy knit, often lined with wind-blocking nylon, sometimes reversible, always great colorways. Seems that so much of my favorite ski gear now and then is of Swedish design. Great image and post!

@AlpineStyle56 Thank you! I didn't know what those sweaters were called, I used to see them everywhere (I lived in Switzerland as a little kid), a lot of the ski instructors would wear them, I always thought of them as the epitome of "pro".

Here's what they were, the tortoise sport, similar to what the woman in the photo is wearing.
