GEAR | L.L. Bean Hunter's Tote


I bought this L.L. Bean zip-top tote ($29) last week for my husband. We have some wedding travel coming up next month and he has a habit of stashing his shoes in my carry-on totes. I read somewhere recently that camo is the leopard print of menswear, so I went for it hoping he'd be into it. He is. But since it came I have been jealously eyeballing it almost every day. I just wish I didn't monogram it with his initials.

I have been using these camo bags, open and zip-top versions, for over a decade - they are fantastic! No signs of wear. Fold down neatly for compact storage. I read somewhere that they were originally designed to carry ice - thus the rubberized lining (which is nice even though it sounds awful). Definitely the coolest and best value from LL Bean.

We have one with an orange monogram. I use it as a diaper bag for my baby girl, Beau. Love it.

Just wanna know are the carrying handles good enough to put over the shoulders? I thought it looked a tad bit short! Thanks!

You can get long straps or short. The short ones are not long enough to go over the shoulder but the longer ones are. Hope that helps!
