UNIFORM | Outlier Riding Pants

A few years ago when I heard about the NYC brand Outlier, I posted about them thinking they were a great idea (a good looking, all-purpose pant, with a little bit of stretch that will hold up for a daily bike commute, a day in the office, and even a night out). Recently I've had the pleasure of trying out the Women's Daily Riding Pant ($188) in army green, and while I was out for a quick spin to the post office today, I was really pleased with the functionality of these pants as well as the nice silhouette—the cut reminds of an equestrian pant and it's similarly high-waisted so we're not flashing our hindquarters to traffic behind us. Ride on!

woah, I was just reading the interview with Abe Burmeister on Paradigm last night (http://paradigmmagazine.com/site/tag/outlier/), adding those pants to "list of things I need to save up for". They look like the perfect pants for my job as a barista!
i purchased a pair of these last year and was very disappointed with how sad my ass looked in these pants. mind you, i don't have the greatest ass - but still, i had hoped the cut would compliment all booties.

i have that bike!
These are fantastic - I need a pair. Wondering if they ship to the UK, or if I need to get my brother in NYC on the case?

What kind of bike is that?

ditto at "i think..." these pants are not flattering AT ALL. my pair spend all their time hanging in my closet and never on the seat of my bike...

BEYOND BUMMED.

The boots in the top photo are Via Spiga and the bike is a Raleigh Twenty folding model.
I HAVE got to get me a pair of these amazing pants!

It's a Raleigh Twenty. They were popular in the late 60s and 70s. Some of them fold too. They are super fun to ride! I have a bronze one

I have a pair of these pants and I LOVE them. I have worn high(er)-waisted pants before and so wasn't expecting miracles with my rear, but I think they are flattering and chic. I'm a little curvier and I think it's worth giving them a try, if only because they are so functional.
