UNIFORM | Levi's California Ranch Pants

Levi’s California Ranch Pants ads via Midwest Maude.

Levi's called their women's jeans "ranch pants" at one point—a name originating in the 1940s when women often had to wear eminently practical clothing. These jeans—from a 1956 ad—ranged in price from $4.95 to $11.95.

interesting how the implications surrounding denim pants have changed so much since that advertisement was first placed, while the styling has stayed so similar, at least, those classics remain fashionable. thanks for sharing!

Where can I find awesome pants with that high waist, tabs for belt loops and slant pockets? They're absolutely dreamy.
