what an icon you brought to us!! it is very unique to choose a photo of a beautiful, special icon driving a car and having fun, in fact... being so close of... a normal human being

First let me say that I love your blog and think you have a fantastic eye. It is great to see so many beautiful and fascinating female icons with great depth, individuals who are not just run-of-the-mill models and actresses. This is why I was shocked to see your choice of Brigitte Bardot, who may have been a great beauty in her day but who is a known racist and homophobe. She has been fined by the French courts many times for inciting racial hatred. I would hope that heart, brains, and integrity trump looks.
That's a fun picture of Brigitte!

@Kneale thanks for bringing this up. I fell in love with the photo and the feeling that pours out of it. But, it's true that tomboy style is about character and style. I am not completely up-to-date on her most recent upsetting behavior you mentioned, but thank you for the insight. I hope this photo can stand alone for now, but I do appreciate the comment.

What a bright smile. She really looks like someone you would want to know...

...until you realise, no, she isn't, and the it makes you really sad.
