Respect for this, but note: in Canada, the spouse of the Prime Minister is never casually nor officially referred to as "the First Lady". There is no such political role.

Oh good to know, is there any signifying title in Canada for the Prime Minister's spouse?

There's no official title for the spouse of a PM; the "role" isn't the same as in the US. I kind of like that the spouses are not expected to take on some official role they may not want or be suited for just because the person they're married to landed the job of PM.
