GIVEAWAY | Danner x Beckel Canvas Collaboration Boots

There are a lot of great collaborations out there, but this collab is definitely one for the books! Two of Portland's most loved heritage outdoor brands have united in the form of a boot. Beckel Canvas, known best for their signature canvas tents and bags and Danner, known best for their well-made American boots, have partnered to create a classic Danner boot made from leather and Beckel canvas. The collaboration includes three men's styles and one women's style—which just launched today. In celebration of the launch, we are giving away one pair of the women's collaboration boot ($340)!

To enter the giveaway: Leave a comment below telling us where you'd take your boots if you won. We'll announce the winner here and feature a photo of the winner's favorite spot on Instagram too! Good luck!

The winner is lea who said she'd take her boots to "Acadia National Park in Maine, her family's favorite place!" E-mail me lizziegarrett(at)gmail(dot)com and we'll get your Danner x Beckel boot out to you! Congrats!

After I put them on the mantle and admired them for a couple of weeks, I would wear them everywhere. To work at the gallery, home on the banks of Mosquito Creek, arenas and rodeo grounds. Oh, and to Marfa to get more boots.

I would wear these in a couple of different ways. First, every day life. I am a mom and a producer in Hollywood and luckily for me each role allows for casual, comfortable, good looking footwear! Secondly. I will wear them this summer when we take a vacation to the Santa Barbara area where we stay on a small ranch and explore the environment. These shows would be perfect for all of that!

What a beautiful boot. It would be perfect for the early spring hikes I love to do outside of Vancouver, British Columbia.

Love these! I would immediately wear them down to help my parents on their farm and then to New Mexico to camp and hike.

Just moved to Washington state. I think hiking Mt. Rainier would be a great way to break these boots in ^^

I'd take mine back home (I'm currently in Chicago and missing it dearly) to my annual New England summer adventure. I try to hike out in the Berkshires/AT/Mt. Washington as many days as I can fit into a two-week span, as well as get to Plum Island and venture on the beaches. And I'd take them to Newport Folk in case it get's rainy again this year!

I'ld love to take them hiking in northern Minnesota this summer, especially around Gooseberry Falls--a favorite family vacation spot.

I'd wear them hiking at Burnett's Creek, Lafayette, IN and chasing my dog through the woods on my family's farm. Perfect for everyday scrabbling.

I'd definitely take them all over Chicago (where I live) and if I got the time and money we'd go to the Blue Ridge Mountains (one of my favorite places in the world).

I'd wear these trekking around campus, and take them on hiking vacations in the Appalachian mountains and along the coast whenever I got the chance.

There is a perfect hike at Third Beach on the Olympic Peninsula that calls out for these shoes. I want moss, sand, pebbles, loam and pine in the treads.

I would take my boots to Pogonip in the Santa Cruz Mountains. It's one of my favorite areas in California, tucked in the central coast surrounded by giant redwoods with a view of the Pacific ocean. Then I would take my boots down to Seabright Beach and roast some marshmallows by the bonfire with some great friends. THEN, I'd take my boots off and jump into the ocean.

Ah I've been eyeing these for a while! They are so suave. I'd probably wear them everyday, but in May I'm going backpacking in Zion National Park and these boots would fit it there juuuusssttt perfectly!

I would walk these boots right over the Williamsburg bridge on a foot adventure from Brooklyn to Manhattan. I'd lace them tight while I walked the Virginia-North Carolina border on my way to some secret waterfalls. And I wouldn't mind the mud while I stomped around the NJ farm I work at during the summer.

These would be the perfect boots for summer day trips hiking in Northern Arizona.

A pair of good boots can take you anywhere. So, to the moon and back. Or perhaps from the Lower East Side to the Appalachian Trail.

OH MY GOD. I would take them to ECUADOR this Christmas and INDIA next spring!! Plus, everywhere in between (road trip from Portland to Colorado, anyone?) because it is extremely doubtful they would ever come off.

My boots and I would bike around town in Austin, Texas!

I'd wear 'em Nancy Sinatra style with command and authority (and maybe even a white go-go dress through) Big Sur and Yosemite to recreate the cross-country trips my Opa (grandpa) to these places in the 1950S when he first came to America from Germany. I'd then take my beat up copy of Desert Solitaire and summon Edward Abbey through Utah national parks and canyon land.

I'd also use the boots in anyone's ass who tried to get in my way.
