There's only one week left until the book launches, so I'm giving away signed advance copies to five people! There are some great book events planned around the country, and most of the happenings are being broadcasted on the Tomboy Style Facebook page and my Twitter account (to not overload the blog with too much book stuff).

To enter the giveaway, like Tomboy Style on FB or follow @LGMettler on Twitter and leave a comment below with your favorite Tomboy Style icon! Winners announced tomorrow at 8pm PST. Good luck!

i absolutely adore your blog and would LOVE to get an advance copy of tomboy style!

its super hard to pick out one single icon as my favorite....it took forever just narrowing it down to two :)
i think my favorite icon would have to be either GLORIA GUINNESS or CHARLOTTE GAINSBOURG.
both different yet oh so amazing.

My 8year old self is my favorite Tomboy style icon. Grew up in Long Beach, Ca and sported STUBBIES corduroy shorts, Vans slip ons in white that tied on top of my foot like a boat shoe, and various hand me down tshirts and polos from my older brother. To this day I think I am trying to re capture the freedom I felt in the 3rd grade!

Minnie Cushing is my fabulous style icon. "The Jock" archetype is so effortless, so real, and so me. What I love about every girl with cool style and a cool vibe (and something I try to embrace in myself!) is an ability to embody ALL of the archetypes, and still stay true to yourself.

Jenna Lyons! I've tried to emulate her personal style (in a budget friendly way) for ages now!!

If I ever attended my own red carpet/celebrity/charity event, I'd copy the look pf La Swinton herself. No one rocks an amazing suit quite like Tilda Swinton. She's badass.

As a single 20-something woman in the male-dominated geoscience industry, Tomboy style the first blog that I could actually relate to. I Look forward to reading it everyday, as well as owning the book. My tomboy icon is Carole King, I could listen to her album Tapestry all day long.

I follow your blog daily. I live in a remote mountain village in British Columbia and I enjoy the daily inspiration I get from your blog. The women I look up to are Jane Birkin, Charlotte Gainsbourg and while the not famous at all, I look up to my mother. I am always looking at old photo albums of her effortless style and beauty; She could make her homemade green shorts, plain white t-shirt and flip-flops into the most fashionable outfit around.
