These ladies protested and marched for decades to earn their right to vote. So let's go do this!

Yes! It's the first time I'm eligible to vote for a presidential candidate and I'm going to take advantage over. I'll have to wake up extra early to get my vote in before work though but it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.

Time to vote! Sadly I can't, I applied for an absentee ballot 2 months ago and never heard back, so here's to hoping the folks in my home state do right. I'm going to share one of these images on my blog as well and encourage everyone to get out there and vote if they can!

Nomadic D., you may still be able to cast your vote depending on where you live and if you want to register to vote at your current address. If you have a valid ID and you can provide proof of residence you should be able to register. Good luck!

today i feel inspired from the past. don't you sometimes feel the ancient roots and sacrifices of those before us speaking from the ground?

i feel it today.

i reposted your pics too along with a piece of a letter from a great great grandfather.

Nomadic D: I am pretty sure you can cast a provisional ballot in California.

Thanks for this. I docent at the Susan B. Anthony House. We are open for free tours on Election Day to honor her suffrage work. I am happy to say I never sat down today; too busy!!

Just found your site through Rizzoli Publishing and I've had an enjoyable evening browsing through it. It may take me a couple of days tho - you have such great photos and commentary here.

nomadic D. the SAME thing happened to be. I'm from Missouri but am currently in California. I went to city hall the day before the election and was told there was nothing I could do to vote.
