California Tailor, the London-meets-Los Angeles women's shirting label that we fell in love with last year, has just released their Fall 2014 collection. Following their debut, Gill McLean's second collection maintains the original mission to create button-front shirts from fun-yet-classic fabrics that are super wearable and thoughtfully made.

We are also giving away one of California Tailor's so buttery soft TOMBOY t-shirts (how apropos!); it's 100% cotton and the roll-sleeve cut is inspired by one of Steve McQueen's tees from the 60s. To enter the giveaway leave a comment that answers this question: Are you more London or Los Angeles?

Winner will be picked at random on Tuesday 10/21 at 5:00pm PST. Good luck!
UPDATE: The winner is Dresden who said: "Los Angeles through and through...long sandy beaches and Dodger dogs...hot sun over sweaters any day." Please email me: lizziegarrett(at)gmail(dot)com to claim your tee!

London! Give me peacoats and scarves and cold rainy weather over LA any day. Love your blog, Lizzie! xx
A Cali tomboy through and through...blue jeans, button-downs and shades anytime!
London! I love bundling up! :)
Definitely London! I love the whole punk look.
Los Angeles. So much to explore, good hiking, and you can't beat the Venice skate park for entertainment.
London. Absolutely!
London for sure. Give me the Tate Modern and snogging :)
London any day of the week. These look wonderful! :)
London! (Though really NYC)
London! Ale, chips, and fog is me! :)
Even though I have lived overseas for 9 years of my adult life, growing up in California makes me have to say I am a Los Angeles tomboy all the way!
Los Angeles! I must have sun :)
London always!
London! More authentic fashion
London because I love tea.
LA! but being from San Diego, I wish I would have chosen my hometown!
P.S. I love your blog!
Definitely more London - give me a London girl every time!
I'm more London for sure-- but hope to be LA in the next life!
Being born and bred in Cali, I'm definitely Los Angeles. But I love London and wearing cold weather clothes.
London by a million miles!
I love when it's tea time and love drizzly, dreary weather where you need to get cozy. I'd have to say London.
Though I still haven't gotten used to California since moving here a year ago, I think it's rubbed off on me. I would describe myself as a Los Angeles (by way of Oakland) tomboy!
London! (Though I'm from Northern California). Tea, bundling and a bit of punk.
I love London culture but I can't give up LA surfing
I love London, but am a California girl at heart. I could spend the whole day at the beach. Cut-offs and the perfect white T is my summer uniform.
L O N D O N
While I love misty, rainy days (and TEA!), in the end I'd have to call myself a Los Angeles girl. Can't beat the relaxed style, outdoors enthusiasm, and FISH TACOS.
But everyone knows all the best tomboys are from the wild west (I'm really a rural Colorado girl). And those plaid shirts would look rad on the back of a horse.
London girl. Less drama and more seasons!
I've never stepped foot in Los Angeles and only spent a mere 5 days in London, but I have such love-wild!-for the sun. London has it charms-oh the accents!-, but sunnyside of life is for me ;)
London! Love the style of that city.
London! Shakespeare. The Beatles. And rain. ;)
I'm a mix of both, but more London.
Love both. Lived both places. Love being barefoot in jeans or boots and a coat! Im a LonLA tomboy!
LA TOMBOY! Sunshine, ocean and camping year round!
LA for sure. That's why I'm moving out there next week!
London! Chicago's been having that unpredictable-but-usually-gloomy weather lately. =0
LA, the canyons!
London! How can you not love rain?!
I moved to Los Angeles from Toronto two years ago. My mother is from Hackney, London, so I grew up with Barbour coats and yorkshire pudding but my heart is here in California. There is nothing more healing than sunshine and there is no major city more natural and wild than Los Angeles. Take away Hollywood, and you have rattlesnakes, mountain lions and the Santa Monica Mountains.
I am more London, I love my tea and rain!
Definitely more Los Angeles - jeans, t-shirts and sandals please.
Give me London!!
Definitely more LA
I could wear shorts and sandals year round
More London, for sure. Give me all-black-everything, lots of rain, and a good peacoat and I'm a happy camper.
LA!
Im more LA when it comes to the warm sunshine but more London when it comes to culture :)
LA, I miss the sun and the surf!! And love California Tailor so much. Seriously the softest shirts, not sure I can own another button up shirt that isn't from her!
Los Angeles. I'm a California girl thru and thru.
Digicats {at} Sbcglobal {dot} Net
Tough choice. As much as I love trench coats and tea, I dream of avocado trees and California farmers' markets.
Tough choice, but I will have to say London.
London Definitely! And button downs.. drool
London Calling. Wellies and wool, Liberty and Love.
can't i have both! jet set between the two? :))
I live in London but would definitely say that I'm more L.A.! Hadn't heard of this brand so thank you for turning me on to it – looks amazing!
Neither. I'm an east coast girl with a touch of southern. But I will vacation in either LA or London any day.
I AM MORE Los Angeles. GREAT BLOG!! I LOVE READING IT!! TAHNKS FOR EVERYTHING
London all the way!
London for sure!
I would love nothing more than to be back in London.
Love London, but Los Angeles ALL the way
LA for me - sunshine and levis
London sensibility...LA weather
London in my brain, LA in my heart.
i adore the grey skies and ubiquitous tea time of london but the eucalyptus scent, avocados, and coastline of LA entice me more.
LAndon
London...I love a chill in the air
LA, California won my heart last August!
London for sure! I love LA but there is something magical about the history and culture in London.
100% london--i'll take a peacoat, beanie, boots and jeans ANY day.
London ( and the South , of course:).
London, for sure! Although I do love the beach...
Wow never been in LA or London. Still I guess I'm an LA girl! I'm planning an LA trip soon. :)
Thanks for the giveaway!!
Los Angeles for sure. I love the beach, the sun, the warmth. I like jeans and tees, sunnies and sandals.
LA as I've never been, so it's a dream state for me
Absolutely London! I love these!
London--I'm always dressed for a drizzle and love wearing jackets!
London!
Of the choices, I'm more LA. Jeans and bare feet.
I am definitely Los Angeles through and through...born & raised!
Thanks!
I pretty much dress the same as I did when I went to elementary school in Dublin, so definitely London.
Los Angeles! Where you can wear flip flops and Sorrels on the same day - in January.
London for sure. History!
Los Angeles! Btw, love your blog!
Probably London though I have never been! :)
LA. Because surfing.
LA - all the way
London! No string bikinis, Botox, or convertibles for me. Give me fog, rain, and Liberty prints!
Los Angeles for sure! i need the sunshine :)
Though LA is nice, I choose London. A tomboy needs a little cold air, rain and gloom every once in a while.
Los Angeles for sure. Need that Vitamin D.
London. Mod meets Modern.
Way, way more London. LA is too new and shiny - I prefer a little grime and history.
Definitely more London.
Far, far more London - or so I've been told. :)
London! Because I wish I could live in all the beautiful cozy coats currently languishing in my closet. Plus, jumpers are cozier than sweaters, a horrid flat is better than any awful apartment, and I'd rather jump into my lorry than my truck. Oh, and a nice biscuit beats out the best cookie in my (cook) book.
LOS ANGELES please
More london -- nothing better than a pair of chelsea boots with some old ripped black jeans and a white buttondown (and some percy pigs from m & s)!!
LA all the way. But I do like London. Beautiful shirts!
London! Love the grey weather and accents!
im more LA!
pokergrl8 at gmail.com
Los Angeles!!
LA :)
Los Angeles - t-shirts, blue jeans, flip flops and sun!
I'd say I'm more Los Angeles in style
Los Angeles
Because I could surf and then throw on some cutoffs with a tee and trainers during the sunny, warm days; then switch to boots, denim, a button down & grandpa cardie for cooler nights. It really doesn't matter where you are if you are true to yourself. Loads of sunshine can't hurt.
Thanks for the opportunity. California Tailor is awesome!
Los Angeles through and through...long sandy beaches and Dodger dogs...hot sun over sweaters any day.
London!
London!!! Not even close
London!
LA. Being away from the ocean makes me anxious. I love what salt does to my hair. Jeans over dresses, boots over heals. Tattoos always.
London!
LA! Style, weather and food. I'll take my palms and veggie hot dog any day.
Navy, gray, black and British accents, please.
LA for sure!
There are so many check shirts in women’s fashion world. But it's too hard to find out “ the one” for me. Now I found “the one”. I love your style for work and everyday.
LA baby all the way! I need sunshine and the ocean to fuel my life
London - since inter-Europe flights are so cheap and the southern Indian food is incredible!
Ughhh so hard! But I'm 70s London punk all the way. Like my future children are Brixton and Strummer (both Clash related names). Awesome clothes and all about the docs and safety pin.
Definitely more L.A. It's my home and my way of life.
London for sure. Peacoats, sweaters, scarves, Beatle boots...all so wonderful!
I'm a California girl and have never been to London (however would love to go) so I'm gonna say LA!
London, my first love. I need changing seasons and right now I'm in the mood for big sweaters, boots and herringbone tweed blazers with my Foxhound at my side.
London through and through!
London! How can anyone refuse Camden Market??
I love bundling up and dressing in layers. So I'd say I'm more London. Yet I hate rainy chilly weather. I wish I could get cold weather and sunny skies! That way I could dress how I love yet not hate the weather lol
I was born in Los Angeles, but never really jibed with the whole yoga-pants-and-Prius-vibe. Savile Row is more my style.
Los Angeles. LA, you're wild and I love you.
London... I mean NYC.
I am more London, I believe.
I've been looking for a perfect new button up! I'm probably more London at heart
l dot a dot cal i forn i a hot
My style is urban without pretenses and frills, prone to cover for wind, rain and storms, so very London.
London for sure! Grey and rainy is my favorite type of weather.
London, for the cold and grey, museums, and my childhood desire to dress in school boy uniforms every day of my life.
I think I'm way more Los Angeles - London is too cold and foggy.
gracebertou@gmail.com
Definitely London! I'm not a fan of hot weather!
Little Foggy London Town.
London for me - layers and tea any day.
LONDON!
LA for sure - born and raised California Lady. I love these subtle fabrics.
Los Angeles through and through! Although I'm constantly bemoaning the warm sunny weather and pining for cold overcast days that require scarves and boots and jackets and mittens.
Love that amaranth in the background!
London! Tried LA and couldn't take the same season all year...
It's a tough one! I was born in LA but grew up in the UK. I think London though -- cups of tea, Sunday roasts and Summer festivals!
I've never been to London! But I'm definitely more LA!
LA always!!!
Trench coats and tea trump beach days for me–but I'll never stop eating avocados!
Los Angeles. Could never deal with all that rain!
Probably more LA than London. I love the sunshine and strive for that effortless "surfer girl" look.
Mmmm...I'm loving the look of those plaids.
London!
London! My first memory as a child is being pushed across the Westminster Bridge, the early morning fog just obscuring Big Ben before the clock came into view again.
What Kirsten said, except I think that I lean towards London. Those shirts would be great with jeans and cowboy boots!
London! Love the cool crisp falls, market places, and an excuse to eat fish and chips wrapped in newspaper!
London! I moved to Portland, OR from Manchester, UK. Closest I could get weather wise to the lovely UK.
London for sure- I'll take a gloomy climate and cobblestone any day
The drive from Phoenix to Los Angeles was our favorite road trip. We would get off a bar shift and drive through the night to watch the sun come up on Hermosa pier. Surf City is still one of the best hostels I've been to. Hollywood is only a tiny piece of this vibrant and amazing city. I may be a Austin tomboy now, but this desert girl still catches herself California dreamin from time to time.
"I see your hair is burnin'
Hills are filled with fire
If they say I never loved you
You know they are a liar"
LA woman for sure.
London! Hunter boots, Barbour jackets, and scarves!
Definitely more London.
London: skies as moody as my heart and tea for days.
London! Tea and rainy days, long walks through Green Park, and shopping at Harrods.
LA! I could spend every day at the beach...
Definitely more of a laid back Cali vibe with me. Dark wash skinny jeans, white button down, aviator shades, and sandals. That's what's up.
I'm London on a sunny day!
Love London!
Tea, rain, knitting...
LA! Warmth and beaches for sure... (Though the accents in London rock!)
I would have to say London ;)
- ashleymorrissey90@gmail.com
Never been to either, but by way of stereotyping I'd say LA.
Thanks for the chance to win!
This is an awesome giveaway! I'm more LA-- give me some sun, sunscreen, and a surfboard, and I'm good to go. Finger crossed!
Lived in LA for 3 years, and it was a tough change from the east coast, but I adored all the art and the fresh food! Omg and i'd never really had a good fish taco until then (or a new love affair with avocado)! <3
