UNIFORM | B+W Unbranded

I came across this bag today and I stared at it for a while in awe of its unbranded-ness. So clean, so basic, so simple. It made me start thinking of other things on the market that are also unmarked and unstamped and I realized how even the smallest of exterior logos or tags can completely change something aesthetically. I'm sure someone could (or has) written a marketing dissertation on this kind of idea, but for now, I just like the simplicity.

Clockwise from top left: Taylor Stitch x Fair Ends Camp shirts ($36); Swatch Golden Tac watch ($50); Baggu Duck bags ($26); Wool and The Gang Lil Snood Dogg scarf ($70); Muji Good Fit sneakers ($27); Matt Singer handmade cotton rope belts ($75).

I love this. The visual equivalent of pushing the mute button. Somewhat mysterious too.

Simplicity is good. Better than good. I'm "logo'ed out"!
