MOMENT | Christine McVie + Dennis Wilson

Photos of McVie and Wilson between 1979 and 1981 via random Pinterest people.

Currently obsessed with this short-lived couple—and Christine McVie, always and forever. McVie wrote "Hold Me" for Wilson on the Fleetwood Mac album Mirage, which was covered by Haim last year for a tribute album. Pretty solid.

phenomenal post! Pretty solid cover as well. Starting to think that Nicks was the over rated one in this band; this seems to confirm it. I'm really digging the look in the upper right hand corner - Dennis looks cool. But I really love McVie's Cub Scout shirt. Tres cool.

Back in the day, I saw Fleetwood Mac in concert(mid-70's)and I was ALWAYS more of a Christine McVie girl than a Stevie Nicks girl (kind of like being a Betty instead of a Veronica?). I had no idea that she had dated Dennis Wilson! And I'm going to check out the cover tune. Thx, Lizzie!

so when i was in jr. high school, a good friend and classmate who was a Beach Boys freak fan won a contest to go to California to meet the Beach Boys by selling more of something than anyone else, can't remember what it was, candy bars or something, i mean she sold to everyone in the school and our whole school was not surprised she won and well, she went to California unchaperoned at the age of 13 or 14 and spent an entire weekend with the BBs and Fleetwood Mac cause Dennis was dating Christie! This girl was the envy of everyone - it was an insane teenage dream. Because of her, the Beach Boys and Fleetwood Mac will always be one in the same to me.

Oh I know. I love this song for that reason, and I love her. I agree with one of the above posters; while I love Stevie Nicks, I do think that Christine was the true talent.

Love Christine McVie. She's my favorite voice in Fleetwood Mac, hands down, and so underrated.Plus she's rocking the 80s jeans. so there's that. :)
