UNIFORM | Everlane Box Cut Tee

Mistakes are often the mother of invention (see: The Slinky, The Pace Maker, Post-It Notes and Penicillin), and the American-made Everlane Box Cut Tee ($15) is no exception. When a batch of their men's pocket tees came back from a factory approximately three inches too short, the Everlane creative team realized this frustrating mistake had actually yielded the perfect boxy cropped tee for women.

This is my absolute favorite tee. I have all three of them and wear them too often (if such a thing is possible)! I wish they released this in more colors!

Those folks at Everlane just keep getting it right, even when everything goes wrong! Just today on the blog I'm obsessing over their new poplin shirts: http://bit.ly/15Ya3oY So good, right?

these look like a nice (and more affordable) alternative to the similar american apparel tee.

ana kras (the girl modelling the tees) is a super cool tomboy too (furniture designer and photographer among other things). you should check her out!
