this photo rules. my dad drove a vintage yellow porsche 911 when i was in junior high/high school. he used to drop us off at school dances and we would be mortified showing up in that thing... how did i not realize it made me look like the raddest kid in school?!

Julia Wheeler, I'm so jealous! Your dad had a yellow 911? The dream car of my childhood. The 911 is the most timeless, classic design. I always had a fondness for the yellow ones when I was little. How incredibly cool to have been chauffeured around in one by dad. I hope he still had it when you got your license and you got to drive it.
