She reminds me so much of my cousin, both her face and her mannerisms. She seems like a very multi-faceted character

My girl crush for sure. Also my husband's crush.
See her in Melancholia - she's amazing in everything.

I will admit I've never been a huge fan, until now that is. Something about the understated easy elegance and open naturalness of this interview just captivated me right away. So wonderful, thanks so much for sharing!

it would be nice if you mentioned this video is from Interview Magazine, or at least link back to that site or my own rather than posting it as Icon : Charlotte Gainsbourg! Just saying!

Would be happy to link back, please give me the link.

It does say Interview Magazine in large format at the end of the film.

I've always loved Charlotte Gainsbourgh- her being part French was enough for me ;)
She's talented and seems so down to Earth and an amazing style icon.

if she can do an Mid Atlantic American accent she should be cast as Patti Smith in a movie version of Just Kids.. her asthetic and look are spot on...

I haven't seen any of her movies but I looked for years for a new perfume. Now I wear Balenciaga Paris - which I believe she helped create. It's beautiful (and makes me feel grown up!)

She appears complicated and always interesting. I'm glad she said her last name, now I know how to pronounce it correctly.

that has got to be one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen
