MOMENT | Weekend Playlist

Photo of teenagers at a jukebox by H. Armstrong Roberts, 1969.

Whew! It's been a long couple of weeks and I've been listening to same 12 songs over and over and over again. I am so ready to kick back for a few days with some fresh tunes. My friend Zinzi just recommended the Nasty Gal album by Betty Davis (not to be confused with Bette Davis), which I'm about to download. Any one have any other suggestions, new or old?

Listen to Lana Del Ray 'Video Games' and then hunt down the rest of her previous stuff on youtube: also, Jamie Woon's song 'night air' and Agnes Obel's Riverside.

Happy listenin'

Songs I recently added to my playlists - in no particular order:
Mango Tree- Angus and Julia Stone
Only the good die young - Billy Joel
The Road - Frank Turner
Body in a Box - City and Colour
Love out of lust - Lykke Li

Maybe you like some of these ;)

btw, I'm kind of obsessed with this blog. Ok,... maybe more than just kind of,... maybe very much ;P

I'm digging Feist's new album, Metals. The song "How Come You Never Go There" is worth adding to your list.

Download the CD by Cults! They're amazing! But it's my stepdaughter so I'm biased. But really. Lizzie. They're great.
