Wow, this totally reminds me of the Devo "Whip It" video!
A full colour photo and women wearing trousers in 1945? Doesn't sound quite right to me. Cool photo though, whatever its origins.
"Modern" color photography was invented in the mid 1930s. It's rare, but this was indeed taken in 1945.
